I have so much wrong with my puter at the moment, that I have to ask for help about this potentially very simple problem (my head is spinning).
In the Dopus lister, in some folders, when I click on the lister headings (Name, Ext, Modified and Size in my case), nothing happens. In other cases, it works as intended (ascending, descending and "natural"[?]).
What have I done? What can I do?

Could you post a screenshot showing what's wrong?
Does it only happen in listers that are still reading in all the information in the column you are trying to sort by?
Lea, thanks for asking. When I got your reply, I went in to the help file, I got a lead, and found the answer.
Tools > Folder Options > Display tab > Sorting Options
where I unchecked "Keep folders sorted alphabetically".
When I "paniced", I did not notice that I checked in folders with only folders or folders and only one file, so I did not think anything could be sorted.
Now, I can sort again, since I saved as All Folders > Replace All.
Thanks for inspiring me to one more attempt.
