Had a folder with 10 sub folders and 1000's of files about 10meg in each each, DO would stall on moving the sub folders to a different higher level folder but windows did it in 5 seconds. Any ideas?? It's not path name length issue

What does it say when you're waiting?
If you've turned on the option to update security settings when moving files/folders, that will make it much slower (when there are a large number of items below the folders). But it would say it's doing that in the progress dialog as well.
If it's a move on the same partition, all Opus is doing is asking Windows to rename the folders from one path to another. If that's taking a long time, it's going to be due to something external to Opus.
If it affects one program and not another, when moving the same folders in the same way, it may be due to antivirus or similar.
