Standalone viewer Expand/Scroll image glitch

context:

  • 4k display, native resolution, no scaling
  • 4 windows usually open in all 4 quadrants
  • standalone viewer set to open in upper-left quadrant
  • have Mouse Buttons/Left button set to expand/Scroll image

glitch:
4k images when left clicked in the viewer will not be centered to fill the whole display - the mouse has to be moved left until the whole image fills the screen.

Images that are even slightly smaller than 4K, are left-aligned and fill the whole screen and the mouse does not have to be moved to view the whole image.

Expanding a 4K image on a 4K screen should fill the screen and not allow the image to move at all while the mouse is held down.

Works that way here, at least.

here is SS of screen, when i click on the center of the standalone viewer (which is in upper left quadrant)

There isn't really enough information here for me to know what's going on in that screenshot.

That is a SS of the entire display.
Showing a 4K (3840 x 2160) image using the Mouse Buttons/Left button set to expand/Scroll image.
The viewer is under the image in the upper left quadrant.
I have clicked and held the mouse button without moving it.
I am expecting the image to fill the whole screen but am having to move the mouse to do so.

(if the image is only a few pixels smaller then this does not happen - I can just click, view and release)

:UPDATE: checked this option and it works as expected
image
(the only reason it was not checked is because I thought it would change the position of the viewer in the upper left - 'window' = 'image' ??)

:UPDATE 2:
updated to v13.9.1 and it is back to original problem as detailed above.

What does the desktop look like before expanding the image?

Is the viewer slightly off-screen on the left and/or top?

Single monitor or multiple?

Has the system resolution or DPI changed since Opus was started?

no

single

no

Strange thing is some 4k images will be centered and some won't. Here are 2 images - centered & offcentered to check - hmmm just noticed the offcentered image is 8px wider than the other one - still it does need some attention (center and crop it please)
