I am using Directory for the first time and am enjoying it so far. However, every I open a new session, it adds itself as a Startup item. I use Advanced System Care Pro to warn me about new startup items. I then need to manually disable it within Advanced System Care (it is still disabled in Preferences in Directory Opus). How do I stop this from happening?
Turning off the Preferences / Launching Opus / Startup / Launch Directory Opus automatically on system startup option will stop Opus itself from running on startup.
The helper application dopusrt.exe also runs on startup to provide desktop double-click functionality. You can turn that off with Preferences / Launching Opus / From the Desktop / Disable.
