I'm talking about the checkboxes (in Check-Box mode) which are strange. When I resizing the Lister, they're updated, so I guess we have some problems with updating Opus GUI or some things like those. What do you think?
I'm using Directory Opus 10.0.0.3 beta on Windows XP 32 bit SP3.
Looks like a bug that only happens if you're using List mode with Check-Box mode and also have themes turned off in Windows (i.e. Win9x 'classic' mode).
I have a bit of strange checkboxes too!
They are to close to the filename in my case.
Right now it is difficult to select the boxes, because the beginning of the
filename overlaps its checkbox. If you click the right part of the checkbox
you get the file selected, instead of it's box.
What's wrong is visible quite good in that screenshot, where you can
see that the selected file-background is part of the checkbox.
I use the "Tahoma" font in size 8 and no folder/file icons in the listers.

We'll look into it.
I have another problem with the Check-Box mode using List or Small Icons mode. When the file display has the focus, clicking on a checkbox seems to change nothing. As soon as the file display looses the focus - when I'm clicking in the tree view or the other file display in a dual view -, the changes become visible. When the file display doesn't have the focus, the first click on a checkbox leads to a change, then it behaves as before.
I'm using Directory Opus 10.0.0.5 on a Windows XP Professional (32-bit) system. On another computer with Windows 7 (64-bit), it works just fine. There's no problem with the other modes (Power mode, Detail mode etc.), either.
It turned out it wasn't Win9x classic mode exactly, but just having themed item selections turned off (which is always the case with Win9x classic mode, and with XP's themes, and a Prefs option when using Vista and Win7's themes).
With themed items turned off, the checkmarks weren't being redrawn at all when clicked, but they (or parts of them) would be redrawn if some other window obscured them and then went away. So I think in the 1st screenshot some window/menu must have covered half the checkboxes and caused that half to re-paint but not the other. The partial checkboxes were just a side-effect.

So i'm looking forward to ..0.6.. o)
So do I.
It's great and also amazing how quickly these little "teething troubles" get fixed. I reported a little optical glitch directly via the support form, and the very next day I could install the new version where this was fixed. A hearty thank-you from me too!
