Stream Deck button opens folders in Explorer

H
I have been trying to create buttons on my Stream Deck to open folders in Directory Opus but I cannot get it to work.
I have read that you can run Opus command from outside of Opus via dopusrt.exe /cmd or /acmd. but I have no idea how to implement this. Is this possible?

So you're running Opus on the Steam Deck? Under WINE or have you installed Windows on the SD?

Where are these buttons? It sounds like they're not buttons inside Opus, but somewhere else.

What do the button run at the moment?

I'm on Windows 10, running Opus and the Stream Deck software separately.

The buttons are created in the Stream Deck software.

I have tried several button configurations.
This is my latest one:

Ah, Stream Deck! I misread it as Steam Deck. I understand now!

Looking at the screenshot:

  • acmd should be /acmd (i.e. add a slash on the front).
  • Run as administrator should be off.
  • Can't see the full path, but I assume it's running DOpusRT.exe (if not, it should be).

Ha. Hmmmm... Nah!
That works anyway thanks

The option to create preselect Folders in Directory Opus like its possible in Explorer would be great, for example, I`m pretty lazy, I have set buttons for Create Folder, thats not working anymore in Opus.

You can run any command you want via the Stream Deck. Only issue with it is it doesn’t give the things it runs input focus, but that applies to everything it runs, not just Opus-related things.

So its not possible to use a makedir command? I would have no idea how that would need to look, but thats no option?

It’s possible to use whatever command you want.

If you want help, please start a new thread with full detail of what you want to do.

Just the command to create a new folder that's it, do you really want me to make a new thread for this? Lol, will do of course if that is the way to go

Cheers

Create a new folder where? Prompting for a name or using a fixed name? When you do what? What do you want different to the Create Folder button that already exists?

There are lots if missing details here.

Please put the details in a new thread. It’s no more effort than replying to an existing thread.
