does such an option exist?
Some common folders would be nice if you had the option to "stylize them" so its easier to visually find if you navigate with folders
things like
- C:/users/
- C:/users/username
- C:/dropbox
As an example

You can apply labels to tree items, the same as file display items, to change their font color, background color, or make them bold or italic.
Make sure Preferences / Folder Tree / Appearance / Use configured file display colors for tree items is on, if you want to do that.
Leo I have this setting on but I'm slightly confused on how to actually apply changes to folders
With the default config, you can usually right-click a file or folder and there will be a Set Label sub-menu.
If that isn't there in your setup, you should still be able to use the Properties menu on the toolbar, which is shown in the Labels manual page.
You can edit or add to the labels and the way they change how things look via Preferences, which the manual page links to more detail of near the start.
