It is pretty standard behaviour in most software these days that clicking the left arrow in an image viewer gives you the previous image and clicking the right arrow gives you the next image. I would like to suggest that this be added by default to make the viewer more initutive less familar with Dopus.

EDITED:
I mis-read the post.
I agree it is very common to have visible arrows one each side of an image in such a viewer.
I was thinking of something different:
Being able to use the left and right pointing arrow buttons on a keyboard is expected/standard behavior. That cannot be enabled in preferences.

Preferences / Viewer / Standalone Viewer / Mouse Buttons / Click left/right edges to go to previous/next picture
I'm aware of how to customise it, just suggesting that it be the default.
It is the default in Windows Photos, iOS (if you count swiping left and right), WhatsApp Web, even my Nikon camera uses left and right buttons to flick through images. Pretty much anything that has a image viewer uses this sort of interface.
