Sysinternals Desktops

Hi,

I am currently using Windows 7 x64 running with the virtual desktop software called Sysinternals Desktops v2.0.

Whenever I try to launch directory DOpus on the secondary desktop it just creates a wait cursor for a few seconds, then nothing happens. (No window shows up)
Works just fine on the primary desktop though.

Any way around this? Any settings that could be tweaked?

Thanks,
Morten

I don't know of a way around it. The method which Sysinternals Desktops uses is actually a bit of a kludge, and breaks a few different things.

Windows 10 finally has built-in support for multiple desktops and does it in a way which doesn't break things.

In fairness to the Sysinternals tool, they had to work with what the OS provided, and the feature really required OS-level changes, which is what Windows 10 introduced when it made it an officially supported feature of Windows.

Thanks for the quick response
