Tab Problem

Hello,

I don't know how to reproduce that, but sometimes, different tabs have same label, despite the fact that their content is different !???

If I click on another folder, both tabs names are changing to the new one !??

Cheers

Does it happen with different folders in the other tab or does a particular folder trigger it?

Anything unusual about either tab? e.g. Non-ASCII characters in the name or path, or a non-Windows network drive or similar?

How do you open the tabs?

Which version of Opus?

Version 9.1.1.8 3357

Nothing special, from what you see in the Print Screen, If now, I click on a different directory (left column), second tab will immediately change to display same folder name as first one.

How do you open the tabs? Saved with the default lister, opened separately (via which command?) or some other way?

either by clicking on folder name in left pane, or by right-context menu (open in a new folder tab), again on folder name. both way, same behavior.

Another clue, in case of dual display, it does not happen second display.

By "left pane" do you mean the folder tree? If so, how do you open new tabs via the folder tree?

yes,

either by clicking on folder name, or by right-context menu (open in a new folder tab),

I also encountered that problem two or three times but couldn't reproduce it.
It seems that the tabs somehow are connected to each other. If I change the folder in one tab it gets the new name, so does the other tab.
If I switch to the second tab and change the folder there, the first one follows. If I close the tabs and reopen them the problem is gone.

Roger

Oh, I forgot:

  • I always open tabs by double clicking on free space after an existing tab
  • I don't rename tabs manually
