OK, closed DO an re-tried again, same behaviour. I then completely closed DO and restarted DO again, same issue again.
I had to switch to a different tab group and back to the first one that was active before - that solved the issue. Now tabs do have correct labels and their content is visible.
DO13 is running on Windows 11 on a VPN connection to my office. The tabs that were initially empty are showing collections, files from network shares from office using this VPN connection. If this matters in this case.
Which antivirus and similar are you using? (There have been cases of them messing with XML config files.)
Did this start happening on the first reboot after updating Opus, or is a change outside of Opus possibly the cause?
If you haven't exited Opus or rebooted since it happened, can you share the content of this file?:
/dopuslocaldata/State Data/openlisters.oll
(Paste that into the path field in Opus and push return to locate it on your system.)
(I'm assuming Preferences / Launching Opus / Startup / Open the Listers that were open when the program was last closed is on. If not, a different file may be relevant, depending on the config and how Opus was launched.)
This is the current content after a full restart of DO (no Windows booting) right now, the tabs are empty again (not all, but most of them on the right lister):
I just removed/disabled it and restarted DO, same picture, though. Previously, after the PC booted the first time today, DO again showed this tabs as it did after disabling the script above.
This is a screen showing the right lister, the left one is correct, although it, too, contains tabs from various network shares as it has on the right side.
Edit: Did I already mention, that clicking on any of those empty tabs does nothing at all? No content and no loading from its defined source.
Edit2: After switching tab groups forth and back to the initial one, it now get's even worse, did a complete restart of DO.
I have the impression, this has to do with the VPN connection. However, it's not that simple because the mapped drives exist, even in Windows Explorer and show the appropriate content there, within DO, when opening the path of one of those now empty tabs in another, newly added tab, I do get the content too.
So , basically, the connection and the files and folders are accessible but not in DO at the time being.
If you mean the listers on both sides, they were automatically openend when DO starts. It is the now restored layout and their tabs before closing DO completely.
I've tested another tab group and closed DO again, restarted and again, the tabs of this tab group are empty as well.
So, it's obviously not a matter of a specific tab group, it affects all groups here. Not all of those tab groups do have the same source in their tabs, of course.
It's a mixture of local paths, network shares mapped to a device letter and shares with UNC paths.
And not all tab groups are affected equally: When restarting DO and the previous state is restored, no matter which tab group was active before quitting DO, some tabs do show a content others not. Again, no exact rule can be found which tab shows a content or not. It's almost random it seems.
