I recently installed version 8.2, and sometime later I noticed that the tab images have disappeared from my tabbar. All the tabs and their names are still there, but the images of the tabs are gone - there's only the text name of the tab. Looking in the "customize" section of the tabbar, nothing seems to be amiss. I've tried reinstalling DOpus - doesn't help. Strangely enough, an older saved layout for the tabbar works fine. How do I get my tabs back in the current layout?
Someone else has reported this too, I'm not sure at this stage what triggers it. It seems that for some reason the tab command is losing the flag that tells it to use a "tab control" and so is turning into a plain styles list rather than a styles tab.
You can fix it by going into Customize mode, removing the old Style tabs command from the toolbar, and adding it back again from the Customize dialog (Commands / View / Lister Styles - Tabs).

This may have something to do with the fact that I have regualar toolbar buttons in the same toolbar after the tabs. This never gave me a problem before, though.
Interestingly, though these buttons used to be right up against the tabs, once I got the tabs back they are now right justified in the toolbar, all the way over on the right of the screen. I also have custom tabs included, for whatever that's worth.

Your new Style tab control is set to "full width". Go into Customize again, right-click on it, and turn Full Width off. You can then size it as desired.

I can give you a little more detail on what's happening here. It turns out that the tabbar.dop file in the Buttons folder has become corrupted somehow. If I replace it with a tabbar.dop file from a valid install, everything's fine.
Corrupted how? Can you send it to me?
