The Directory Is Not Empty (145) error

The attached screenshot shows a directory tree on a network attached storage drive. Secure Wipe produces the The Directory Is Not Empty (145) as shown in the screenshot. Other directories on the NAS did not encounter this problem.

What must I do to achieve a Secure Wipe?

The error comes from the filesystem and, ultimately, the NAS itself.

Is the directory empty? (Check if the status bar says some files are hidden from view when in it. A hidden+system Desktop.ini file is likely, looking at what the directory is.)

If it's empty but giving that error then the NAS is doing something wrong (or potentially just returning the wrong error code for something else, like that directory being special in some way such that it won't let you delete it).
