Thumbnail size per folder

Hi,

When saving a folder format (let's say showing images as thumbnails in images folder), how can I force the thumbnail size to 256 by default for said folder? It always resets to default when I restart the program.
I know about how to change the default setting, but I'd like to be able to change the setting on a per folder basis (and retain it).

We have this on the list to add to Folder Formats in the future but can't say when it'll be available yet. In the mean time you can do it with a script, see e.g. Thumbnails Size per Folder path

Try this script: With a command like: Show THUMBNAILSIZE=source,255 I think that should work, at least as a starting point. It might need extending to be able to reset the size when going to other folders, or to have other sizes for other folder…
