Toggle selection with keyboard (spacebar)

Is it possible to toggle file/folder selection with spacebar in details mode. I use both mouse and keyboard and used to toggle selection (in TC) not with mouse middle button but with spacebar, that further moves to next file (selects one file and moves to next). Is it possible to make the same in Dopus, any combination of RAW commands?

In Details mode, hold Ctrl down. Space then toggles the selection and the cursor keys also allow you to move to other files without deselecting everything.

In Power mode you don't have to hold down Ctrl as both space and the cursor keys work that way by default.

I don't think there is currently a way to reconfigure space so that it both toggles the selection and moves to the next item. I think you'd have to press space and then down-arrow at the moment (unless there's a way to do it that I haven't thought of). If it's something you really want then drop GPSoft a feature request.

Yes, this works.
I can select file with spacebar holding ctrl key, but if i suddenly press up and down, all selection goes off to one file. I think i should learn a get used to working with power mode. The behaviour with selection is perfect their. I still can not find out how to work with it efficiently, especially when i want to drag several selected files and put in a folder: moving the mouse causes further selection of files.

When starting a drag & drop in Power mode, the important thing to remember is to start dragging the files to the left or the right, not up or down.

Once you've moved a few pixels to the left or right the drag & drop will begin and you can them move in any direction without worrying about accidentally selecting things.

It's a bit strange at first but something you get used to really quickly. Soon it'll be second nature.

(Personally I use Details mode but I used the equivalent of Power mode for years back on the Amiga and I still drag files out to the left or right slightly, even though I don't have to, I guess due to muscle memory. It's something you get used to and no longer think about.)
