Toobar Buttons - A quick way to hide/show them all?

Is there a way?
I tried saving a Lister Layout with all my toolbars, and a layout with no toolbars, but loading these layouts has no effect on toolbars.
The reason I ask is because I'd like to free-up the space only when I'm looking through thumbnails.

Toolbars are one thing that are universal to all layouts, they're either on or off in all of them. Instead, you can make individual buttons for menus or toolbars that will turn certain toolbars on or off. For example I have one button on my main toolbar that I simply call "Bars". It's a 3 button button where a left click will toggle a left aligned toolbar on or off, a right click will do the same for a specific right aligned toolbar, and a center mousebutton click toggles a vertical toolbar on/off in the middle of my lister. FWIW the commands I use to do this follow:
Toolbar NAME="My VBar Left" TOGGLE STATE=left

Toolbar NAME="My Vbar Right" TOGGLE STATE=right

Toolbar NAME="My Applications" TOGGLE STATE=tree
John,

Can you post a screenshot of what it looks like with the toolbars active?

Here ya go Nate

JohnZeman - Thank you.
How did you get that color for your background in your folder display? If it's an image, may I have a copy of it?

The image can be found in the backdrops forum, here:
[Oiled Metal)

Another variation:
[Grayscale Oiled Metal)

Yet another variation included in this set:
[SubBASS Toolbars)

Yup, that's them all right Leo.

Lee I've actually made several variations of my original Oiled Metal background over the years and to be honest I have no idea if the one I'm using now has been uploaded here now or not. So if you download one of the above images from Leo's links and it seems a bit over saturated or whatever, let me know and I'll upload the one I'm using now.
