If no files are selected and toolbar item is greyed out, the icon moves a little bit to the left, making button consume less space which then causes all buttons to the right move left.

Doesn't seem to happen with the default toolbars.
Can we have a copy of your custom toolbar to try with?

We've fixed that for the next update.
It was due to the Button-Menu with "always enable drop-down" effectively turning into a normal Menu when the main button part was disabled. Button-Menus and normal Menus have different spacing between their labels/icons and the drop-down arrow.
