With some things like bookmarking and empty files I like to label it and give them a color for easy spotting. But it always ends up ugly.
Check out my ugly kind of brownish white empty files.
Would be nice if we had a transparency slider on the row colors, so we could make the selected or labelled effect more faint.
What would be cool too, is if we could have box outlines over the rows.
Same as the "last selected" outline we have now, but we could configure it.
We could make labels and whatever else cause a colored outline instead of a fill color.
Here's a mockup of a "match=empty files" label causing an orange outline on that one file.
