Trouble with 'Folder Colors'

If I'm try to assign Folder Colors to specific colors via
Preferences/.../Folder Color.
I can't select any color with the drop down box 'Color:'. The drop down box is empty.
If I try to delete a color style (Blue, Green, ...) I get a suspicious message
'Really delete the group ''?

Gert

I'm using DOpus 9.1.1.3.3190.x64 on WinXP64

Type /dopusdata/ConfigFiles into the location field in Opus and then move foldercolors.oxc to a temporary place and restart Opus.

Does that solve the problem?

If so, could you send the old foldercolors.oxc file in a reply or private message? Maybe looking at it will reveal what went wrong.

Hi Leo,

you suggested solution unfortunately didn't solve the problem. All predefined colors was still available and the described behaviour is still in existence.

The file foldercolors.ocx contains only following:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

Sorry about that. Try renaming colorgroups.oxc instead. I didn't realise the colours themselves were stored in a separate file to the folder-colour mappings.

A new file colorgroups.oxc was created but I got the misbehaviour too.
The new file containes the same content as the renamed one.
I attach the file.

Uups my attachment is missing? Because of .oxc extension?
Here the content:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

Weird.

Are you using the English version of Opus or another language?

I'm using the English version of Opus. The special thing is perhaps the OS system WinXP64 ??

I just tried in an x64 Vista VM and I saw problems there as well. I'm surprised nobody noticed this before.

I've reported it to GPSoftware.

Thanks for your intervention!!
