Trying to get an XP-Classic Look

Hello all,
As indicated in the title i'm trying to get an XP Look.
This is proving to be very difficult.

This is how far i have been able to go.
The left problems are the following:

1.There is a 1-2 pixel "overflow" on bottom of the toolbar. I have been able to get it to look decently by using a background, but this is pretty nasty.
This off centers everything of 1 pixel.

2.When highlighting the menu(like file/edit/etc) explorer will highlight just around the text, whereas directory opus seems to be highlighting the whole "button size"(that is full width&height). Any way to go around that?

3.The title icon in explorer changes to that of the url bar. Any way to do that in directory opus? It looks much nicer.

4.It would be nice to have a way to specify borders/clipping values for the buttons in a toolbar. As well as a way to specify the toolbar height(forced).

So far that is all.

Thanks for any help,

DeathWolf

Have you played around with the settings in Preferences - Toolbars - Appearance? They may solve some of the problems.

For number 3, there is currently no way to make the window icon change to the folder's icon. It's always the Opus icon (which changes colour to indicate source/dest/off/dual state).

Wow, speedy answer;)
And yes i have tried toolbars->appearance
The problem is that you can not set to 0 the vertical button spacing for example.

You're right. I guess there's no reason why zero shouldn't be allowed if that's what the user wants (but maybe there is a reason that I don't know about). You should drop GPSoftware a request to see if they'll allow the spacing value to go down to zero.
