I've used Opus for years since like version 5 maybe earlier. However I have found an issue copying files. I have attached a screen shot of the error. It happens even if I'm in the folder and not using the library link to folder.
Do you get the same error if you copy the same file using Windows Explorer?
Is the EXE being copied also being run at the same time? (Or open in anything else, like a resource editor, hex editor, antivirus scanner, etc.?) (If the viewer pane in Opus is open, try closing that.)
Which anti-virus are you using? Do you still get the error if you disable its real-time scanner?

No, The file copies fine not a problem.

No, In fact I rebooted the laptop opened up opus when windows finished loading "I have a text file with delay to insure it is the last thing loaded or opened on reboot for troubleshooting." Viewer pane closed not open, ,

Antiviris software is Trend Micro Platinum latest edition and up to date. Doesn't make a difference whether it is on or off tried both.
New information on problem Opus seems to have a problem copying to jump drive (usb) but not to external usb hard drive copies same file fine not a problem. Tried several usb jump drives different ports same result. Tried several different files and types (jpeg, txt, exe, zip, rar, docx) same result.Tried copying file from download directory to usb external hard drive worked then took file from external hard drive and copied correctly to usb jump drive that it orginally gave above error on. Strange don't know what to say about it.
Not really concerned now about it as I got file copied to drive that it needed to be on but just really strange. Had tought about virus infection had OS drive removed and checked with two different virus scanners as an external drive no hit or infection indicated with Norton or Kasp.
If it only happens with a USB jump drive, try setting Preferences / Miscellaneous / Advanced: copy_nonbufferio_threshold to 0 (zero).
If that fixes it then it means the drive has problems handling unbuffered I/O.
Great seems to have fixed the problem. Bet you scratched your head a time or two with this one?
