Unable to open mounted directory

Hi,
I've recently updated my NAS - Asustor AS5404T.
When I mount it via Asus EZConnect and then try to access the folder it gives me an 'An error has occured - Access denied (5)'

I'm at a loss but have procmon files as well.
Not sure what I'm looking at on that either.

Can anyone help please?

Are you only seeing that error in Opus, or in other software as well?

You don't normally need software to connect to a NAS. It can normally be accessed via \\server\share\... type paths, or mapping a drive letter to them. (I recommend using the paths without mapping a drive letter. Favorites or similar can provide quick ways to get to the path.)

Yes only dopus.
I realise that I can map individual shares on the nas but the software treats the nas like another drive so I can access all folders.

This is the first time dopus has reacted this way whilst undertaking this task.

Make sure Opus hasn’t been launched elevated (it’ll say “Administrator” in the titlebar if it is). That could result in access denied errors if the software only makes the connection for the non-admin account.

Other than that, I don’t know what would cause it to only affect Opus. Opus has no specific knowledge of Asustor drives and doesn’t treat them any differently to any other drive type.

Not running in administrator. Have tried that but still access denied.

Did you take a look at logs on NAS side to see reason of access deny ?
