Uninstalling Directory Opus

How do I uninstall Directory Opus? It leaves no uninstaller in the program's folder nor is there an entry in the Add/Remove control panel.

I don't want to simply delete the folder, since that will leave files in the system folders.

I HIGHLY recommend that the software authors conform to Windows standards and INCLUDE an uninstaller in the package. I was quite unplesantly surprised that I could neither uninstall the software nor find any mention of how to uninstall it in the help provided with the installation.

Using the uninstaller that's in the Add/Remove Programs control panel. :slight_smile:

If you only looked under "D" then you won't have found it. The uninstaller is called "GPSoftware Directory Opus".

Actually, it's not there either. I've looked through the entire Add/Remove list...nowhere.

The installer you used, was it digitally signed by GPSoftware?

If it was you will have an uninstall entry, as shown below:
