Unreadable text with both default Dark and Deafult Light themes

Hi all,

For a while I have been struggling with a strange problem that I can not seem to solve.

Colors in Default Dark and Default Light mode look weird and some texts are unreadable in (amongst others) the rename window. See images.

Settings where initially exported from a x64 Windows10 installation and imported on a arm64 Windows11 installation. That gave me the current color problem. As said reverting to the Default Dark or Light setting does not solve the problem.

Does anybody have a clue?
Any help is appreciated!

Many posts relate issues with arm.

Dark mode doesn’t currently work on ARM machines, due to limitations of x64 emulation on ARM Windows.

We plan to make a native ARM build in the future which we expect will solve this.

OK, thanks for your reply. I suspected that arm could me the problem.

But as you can see in the second image, the same problem exist with the Default Light mode.

In both modes the text in the upper drop down box is not readable.

No one here with same problem as I have in Default Light Mode?

It’s an issue with ARM machines. With some dropdowns it affects light mode as well, as the mechanism used to paint the dropdown contents doesn’t work with Microsoft’s current x64 emulation.

Hi Leo,

Any update on the native ARM build you mentioned in november?
I've been using DOPUS since the Amiga days and am a bit disappointed with the performance on my Samsung ARM laptop!

In the release notes of latest beta (13.15.1) is noted:

  • Experimental: Fix for ARM64-emulation issues which prevented dark mode working in some dialogs, and also stopped combo box dropdowns working.

I can confirm that the above issue has been solved since this release.
