USB install to MMC, SD card

Is it possible to install the USB version to a memory card?

These don't stick out from the side of a notebook. Opus installed here would be very convenient on my work laptop.

Can it be done? What is the minimum install space required?

It works if the card reader is connected via the USB bus. (That can mean an internal USB bus.)

It works with the MMC and SD Card readers build into my monitor.

I've heard of a couple of laptops which do things differently, though.

Install size depends on which components you include in the export. You can use the C:\Program Files\GPSoftware\Directory Opus folder's size as a rough upper bound.

As an alternative and more expensive solution (for your boss), you could consider one of these... I've just ordered one myself.

Cheapest: Single-License includes Laptop usage. So why USB-Export?!

Blueroly: a micro USB is hardly going to break the bank, especially considering the productivity gain!
Sasa: I use Opus on my personal notebook and would like to have the same functionality on my corporate notebook. A work install is counter to company SOE rule, while I could argue the case for a USb app I was runnign myself. As I mentioned before USBs typically stick out from the port itself whereas on the Toshiba R380 an SD card fits above a vey small shelf and does not even break the edge profile. This has the further advantage that I can be running Opus without the inevitabel questions if I'm persistently running my notebook at my desk and in meetings with a flashing USB plugged in.

Oh and thanks for the quick feedback - its a great product. All of us its champions. Generally whenver I get a chance to show a power user all that it can do, a sale for GP Software follows very quickly.
