I recently started using Directory Opus, and I’m loving it so far. However, I’ve run into a small issue when working with other applications like Photoshop or Topaz. When I click “Open File” in those apps, it still opens the default File Explorer window to browse for files. Is there a way to make it open Directory Opus instead?
What you could do, especially if you always work with an open instance of Directory Opus, is assign the following commands to a button or a hotkey. In my case, I have it assigned to Ctrl+Shift+C.
If you select a file and run the command, it will copy the full path including the extension to the clipboard, then you can simply paste it into the text box below in the file explorer window. If you activate the command when a folder is selected, it copies the full path of that folder or if you activate it when nothing is selected, it copies the path of the current directory.
