Using 'visual style to draw items'

Hi,

When I uncheck 'Use visual style to draw items' under Prefs/Display/Options, I find that the folders and files in both panes move slightly closer together. Is there a way of preventing this?

Preferences / File Display Modes / Details / Extra line spacing

Similar for Power mode.

But this doesn't change the spacing in between the tree items. Any way of changing that?

I don't think there is, other than changing the font the tree uses.

With visual styles off for those things, the spacing is identical to what it was on Windows XP and earlier, by the way.

I was trying to do a similar thing the other day, in the end the font had to be changed as well. The tree really needs a spacing option like the details and power mode lister displays have.
