Video and WAV codec "unknown" sometimes

DO has been awesome for me, I just have one bug I can't find a solution to:
I installed the LAV audio and video codecs to use the Viewer Pane for wav and mp4 videos. That works great and is so much faster than starting VLC, but once a day, the codec for mp4 and/or wav isn't recognized when clicking on a file. Restarting DO fixes this everytime.

I'm just wondering if there's anything I can test to fix this minor bug? I tried switching DO to not launch at startup, thinking the codecs would launch first, but it made no difference.

It's more likely a bug in the codec than in Opus.

That said, we plan to move video playback into a separate process, which may help with issues like that (depending on what's going wrong with the codec).

Just wanted to correct myself and say that it's the audio codec that's having issues. Video will play fine, but the audio is gone until I restart DO. Same happens for pure WAV files.
