Viewer only displays one image out of multi image tiff file

I am using the latest beta 11.13.1 64 bit

When I use the built in image viewer to open a single tiff file which contains 2 images, Opus will only display one image and not offer an option to view the next image.

This is a multi image tiff, I.E. one tiff file, containing 2 images.

When I open with windows picture viewer, both images are accessible.

Any thoughts?

The Opus TIFF viewer (and many others) will only show the first image. If you want to view faxes (I presume that's what it is), you'll want to set another viewer for that file type. (You can keep the Opus viewer for other file types if desired.)

There is a plugin API for anyone who can write software and wants to add multi-page TIFF support, but demand for the feature seems to be very small these days, as the files themselves are very rare now.

Thanks Leo

Leo

My need is not to view fax

But rather I scanned many documents into multi page tiff formats

Now when I wish to view and manage these documents I face limitations and performance issues

Any thoughts on current multi page tiff software for viewing printing managing etc. these files?

Thank You

Victor

Not something I've ever needed or used, so I don't have any advice, sorry.

I would use PDF for multi-page scanned documents, since it's a lot more common for that purpose.

Ok thanks again Leo

BTW the more I use Opus the more I love it!

Wish I would have bought it 20 years ago
