Viewer pan sound player doesn't work well

Hi,

I make music and sometime I have to listen lots of drum samples very fast. For that, I use the viewer pan sound player and the arrows of my keyboard.

The issue is: the player is not reactive enought. Lots of time, it skips lots of my sound files when I browse very fast why the arrows of my keyboard.

Opus doesn't have its own sound player for the viewer pane. If there's a Preview Handler or ActiveX player for sound formats (e.g. Windows Media Player includes both) then those will be used, but how they behave is largely outside our control.

Although it sounds like you may just need to wait longer for the files to start playing before moving to the next one, perhaps?

Yes. It's low. And for me, (musician productor), it's not a good thing when I want to listen tons of little sounds.

The new sound player in Opus 13 should be better, if you want to try the public beta.
