I'm having the problem again with writing to files. Winamp or Mp3 Tag wouldn't let me write metadata to an mp3, and I couldn't figure out why. Well, it was because its album art was showing in the Dopus preview pane. When I closed out the pane I could write to the file.
Was it just album art or was it also playing the audio?
Just having the files selected is enough to error out. It happens with trying to modify the metadata with the Dopus metadata pane too.
If the viewer pane is open and the file is selected, it'll normally be playing the file.
I've turned off autoplay. I use custom arrow keys to play music files.
Right > play, Left > stop, Up/Down > prev/next file.

The preview pane is really good. I would like to use it all the time.
I thought that the temp file when writing to the file was the solution. I will double check my settings on that.
That's still playing the file, it's just paused at the start.
We should be able to improve this in the future, but for now you'll need to close the preview pane to stop the files being locked open for reading.
