I used to be able to view pdf files (in Viewer Pane).
I installed Version 11.13(x64).
Now I just see the pdf logo.
I noticed that I had Ghostscript installed.
I do not remember if Ghostscript was related to my being able to view pdf files.
I do not remember if I somehow linked Ghostscript and Directory Opus.
I upgraded Ghostscript to Version 9.16.
I still just see the pdf logo. Do I need to link Ghostscript and Directory Opus? Am I way off-base?
I tried to show the Viewer Plugins that I have checked.
I did a Print Screen. I pasted to Word.
I tried to attached the .docx file to this post. It would not accept a .docx attachment.
In both Opus and Explorer, to view PDFs in the viewer pane, you need to install a PDF viewer which includes a preview handler.
Examples include Adobe Reader and PDF X-Change, among others.
Instead of pasting screenshots into Word, paste them into Opus to create image files from them directly. You can attach image files to forum posts (JPG, PNG, GIF). Word Documents are not a suitable format for images on the web, so they won't work.
