Viewpane and having original size as default

I would like to know whether when using ViewPane or ViewPaneSize whether it is possible to have/use a setting so that the Lister View Pane automatically goes to original size.

Below that pane I see the following buttons

One of which is to display the original size of the document (the one in the image above which is 'pressed down').

Sorry, if the names aren't 100% exact (i'm using a german translation), but check under preferences -> viewers -> standalone viewer to set it to »original size«.

[Names corrected for English version.--Leo]

(Abr's reply came in as I was writing so there's some overlap in what we've said.)

You can change the default for the standalone viewer (Preferences -> Viewer; option is called "reset zoom level for each picture...").

For the viewer pane, I think it resets to "fit to page" in new listers (and remembers whatever you change it to on a per-lister basis).

I have to correct it, you have to set it to »full«.

[Done. FWIW it's "original size". --Leo]

Thanks, Leo. Since how long i planned to make full list of menu paths to alwayshave the right names?

 I used to keep screenshots of all the Opus 8 preferences pages in case people asked questions about them when Opus 9 was new. Same sort of problem as translating between languages.

(These days I fire up a virtual machine, although that takes a lot longer. I should make some new screenshots!)

Yes, that's what i also have for a couple of menues. But for a different reason so far: i'm using some themes from TuneUp Utilities, which display that nasty
»all menu fields black« behaviour, so i either have to switch the theme back to Windows 7 standard or have a look into the screenshots.

ps. the screenshot looks even worse than the actual menu. This happens, when going into screenshot mode. Normally only the slim fields after the checkboxes are all black.
The Windowblinds setting doesn't solve this, but i didn't send a report, since maybe not too many people use those themes. But when not using the prefs,
Opus looks quite nice then.

That's the reason why I avoid such tools a tuneup - often there're more problems after than before, esp. the "optimations"!

BTW there's a UXThemePatcher for Win7, also nice skins and more system-friendly.
