The attached GIF demonstrates a visual glitch that occurs when searching for Arabic names using the default "Find As You Type" (FAYT) mode.
I suspect this is a regression from v13.22. I don’t recall encountering this issue in previous versions, but I don't have them anymore to verify.
I don’t think anything related has changed in a long time. You can download older versions to test things via the menus at the top left of this site if you want to check.

You're right, this isn't a recent regression. I must have been thinking of File Explorer's behavior. To clarify, the Arabic names matching works fine in Opus, it's just the visual highlight that is off. I understand this might be complex to address due to the RTL and cursive (connected letters) nature of the Arabic script.
