Way to fast delete large nested folders

Directory Opus Pro 12.28 Build 8189 x64
OS 10.0 (B:22621 P:2 T:1) SP 0.0

win 11 22H2 22621.1

Not sure I understand the question. Just delete them. Disabling file counting may speed it up slightly, and not using the recycle bin can have an effect as well, but otherwise it mostly comes down to factors outside of Opus and which you can’t change for a given device/system, at least without changing the storage device, antivirus, filesystem, etc.

deleting a large nested folder can take 15 minutes even on a fast local ssd. Usually, those are old windows folders created by win 11 updates.

i'll use the built in windows file cleanup tool which is very fast. when i get a chance there are command line ways to delete quickly. just too lazy to create the bat file for one of those.

Most of the time taken would usually be waiting for the filesystem to delete the files, so it shouldn't generally matter which software you use to delete them.

(At least assuming you aren't viewing the folders and their contents in flat view or something unusual.)
