When I am in details mode, I can see the zip file as an archive, and double clicking on it opens winrar as excepted.
Yet when I go to the thumbnail mode, for that same folder, all of a sudden, the archives (zip) become browsable folders that I can browse into.
So why the inconsistency?
The two modes should be the same, unless you have set a double-click action or script that changes what happens based on the mode.

I have no idea how to script for Opus, so no, I did not do anything at all nor configure double-click action.
Is there anything I can do to help you reproduce it?
When I do what I think you're talking about, I see the screen shot attached. I consider this normal. Is this what you see?
