When copying/moving files, can I make the progress window that pops up be on another monitor?

I am moving / orginizing a lot of files from my PC to my local server and whenever I move some files into a new folder, that progress window pops up, (which is nice btw), and I have to minimize it, or manually move it to another monitor before I can beging working on the next set of files.

Since I don't even know the name of what it is that I want to edit/modify (that progress window popup) I am probalby missing a very easy fix that I just don't see.

Thank you so much

(BTW- I am using the new Directory Opus 13)

If the progress dialog opens, it'll always start centered on the window that opened it.

But you can set it to minimize by default, and can also turn on a small progress display at the bottom of the main window, out of the way.

Preferences / File Operations / Progress Indicators:

  • Minimize progress indicators automatically

Preferences / File Operations / Progress Indicators / Jobs Bar:

  • Display the jobs bar automatically when starting a new job

The Minimize option can also be toggled via button/hotkey: Set MINIMIZEPROGRESS=Toggle
