Which appinstaller is used to install update?

After set up Windows 11 Pro (x64) from stratch i installed DOpus and it was found an update. But now i am asked which app i want to use after pressing the "install" button. I think it must be appinstaller from my computer. But there are a lot of appinstallers. on my system. So which is the right one?

  • MDMAppInstaller.exe
  • AppInstallerBackgroundUpdate.exe
  • AppInstallerFullTrustAppServiceClient.exe
  • AppInstaller.exe

Thanks for help!
Kind regards

That isn’t normal. I’m not sure the message is actually coming from Opus. Could you post a screenshot?

Unfortunately not. The dialog after pressing "install" is the normal "open with" dialog for unknown file extensions from Windows (s screenshot in german to open a program with the .txt extension.)
The dialog asked me with which program i want to open the .exe extension. I then chose the " * MDMAppInstaller.exe" on my computer and with that the update went through. I have no idea why this happenend on my fresh Win11 installation.
For now the problem is solved!

Assuming it happened for all executables when double-clicked on the desktop, or similar, that means the .exe file type is/was messed up in the Windows registry.
