Hello there,
First thanks a lot for creating dopus 10, it is really a cool Explorer replacement.
I have a small problem on my machine: I'm using the Widcomm Bluetooth stack that comes with a broadcom bt adapter. I have paired the adapter to my mobile phone and want to transfer files using obexftp. Therefore the widcomm stack creates a special folder with the name of my mobile device right under "My Computer". Using the Windows Explorer I can click on that icon and browse the content of my phone, but using dopus nothing happens when clicking on it except that the current selection in the treeview jumps back to "My Computer".
Any idea what could be the problem? I'm using DOpus 10 x64.
Regards and thanks in advance,
Jens
I have been using opus for 7 to 10 years and you will in time be amazed at the accomplishments. The only limitation I have found, It can't drive you to work! But than I only have to go 100 feet to work. Just today I found another huge purpose for Opus, which brought me to the forum today.
Now for the Issue:
Opus has a program for the U3. There might also have one that will work with the Droid or Apple. That would be my first thought. Hopefully you'll run into somebody on this forum that also uses Widcomm.
I did not see mention of the type of mobile phone you're using. Searching on Droid I came up with a couple of interesting links. There is a decent discussion on DroidForums, a favorite for me.
Another possibility, searching on "obexftp Forum" : sevenforums.com/software/734 ... stack.html
SideBar: I have an interest in Widcomm pads. I have no knowledge other than you use a pen with the results ending up on your Windows program. I use Dragon and Swype religiously for my data entry. This gives me a very smooth flow. My question is can these pads use a program such as Swype. In case you're not familiar with Swype. It's a program that allows typing by flow. Each work was a flow pattern. So you let your fingers do the dancing. Can it work with Opus or does the program your using have to be special to the Pad.

Hello Bob,
Thank you for your reply. May be you missunderstood my issue or I haven't explained it properly. I don't try to run DOpus on my mobile phone, I just want to use Dopus to transfer files from my Desktop to my phone using bluetooth/ObexFtp. The bluetooth drivers on my Desktop created a folder with the name of my phone under "My Computer" after pairing. Using Windows Explorer I can browse my phone from there and transfer files, but unfortunately this does not work with DOpus. The folder for my phone appears in DOpus, but nothing happens when trying to open that special folder. Since everything works just fine using Microsoft Windows Explorer I guess the issue is within DOpus and not with the bluetooth drivers.
Regards,
Jens
One of the missing features of DO: Accessing special folders like Phone, Cameras, Scanner, MP3-Player etc. is limited in usage.
