When using the Search bar, How to only display folders?
also looking for a tutorial on how and when to use wildcards.

I guess you mean the Windows Search: use kind:folders.

The search field uses Windows Search. (See the manual page lxp linked for more detail.)

Opus also has its own internal, alternative find/search functionality, which does not use Windows Search, which you can access via Tools > Find Files.
