What is the best way to recover missing icons in windows 10 pro with DOPUS installed?
sometimes if a desktop shortcut icon is renamed the icon image turns white. Even if the properties show the icon is correctly linked to the shortcut. The shortcut itself works as expected, but is a ugly blank.
There are many tutorial on cleaning icon cache, mostly by going into the "Explorer" folder and deleting
"iconcache" files.
Opus isn't connected to the icons on the desktop at all. Just follow the guides you've found.
