using v12.3 in Windows 10 Pro 64bit
I can't get the lister to resize or move position when loaded
I make changes but every time I close the lister and re-open it it goes back to its 'default position'.
I tried the advice found in an earlier thread and 'Set Lister Defaults' without success
Which method are you using to open the window?
What is it configured to do under Preferences / Launching Opus?
I don't know that it has any bearing on your issue, but if you're really using 12.3 you might want to update to at least 12.33.
No. I'm using 13.2
I have DOpus set up to open the default lister on boot
When I close it I would then select the DOpus icon from my taskbar
Both methods produce the 'mis-sized' lister window
I have now managed to get it to move the align with the right edge of my screen (I guess by keep manually moving the window by dragging the right edge of the lister to the right edge of the screen)
However, it remains at about 90% height despite repeated attempts to drag it to full height
Set Lister Defaults should be all you need.
Do you have anything installed that changes how/where other programs’ windows open? Tools like that can interfere.
Not that I'm aware of
Whilst I don't have a program that affects window size I do have another program running pretty much all the time I am using DOpus - It also has an auto column size function that only affects the columns within the prog itself.
It's Tag&Rename (32bit) the best tagger out there but sadly no longer being updated.
Perhaps you might want to try this button to control lister size and monitor location. This is based on 27 inch monitors. Play with the POS and SIZE numbers for your setup.
Cheers, but perhaps I should have mentioned that I have a 43" Ultra Wide Screen Monitor: Asus XG43QV
