I noticed a small bug in the latest stable Dopus version (11.15) in Windows 10.
If I right-click any file in Dopus, there is an option "Open With" where one can select which application to use for this file. Under this menu there is another option "Choose Default Program..." which opens up a window where one can select even more applications. Selecting any of these applications does open the file in that application, however this is not saved as the default application for the selected file extension.
If I do the same in Explorer, then there is also an option called "Open with" (note the lower case "w" in this case) and under that menu there there is a slightly different option called "Select another app". Clicking this option opens up a window very similar to that seen in Dopus, but there is a major difference. At the bottom of the window there is a checkbox with the text "Always use this app to open .XXX files". Checking this box and then selecting an application also saves this for when one double-clicks a file with that fileextension in the future.
Dopus: "Open With" -> "Choose Default Program..." -> does not make selected application default
Explorer: "Open with" -> "Select another app" -> "Always use this app to open .XXX files" -> makes selected application default
