On Win7 I'm finding that ZIP files appear in the folder tree sorted as folders... I can't find any option in Opus that affects this, and since it does NOT appear this way on WinXP I'm assuming that Opus is getting this from system settings. I want zip files and other archives to be sorted as files in the tree - not as folders.
Initial googling around only finds references for disabling all zip folder support in Windows through registry edits, etc... which I'm not sure I really want to do at this point. Have I missed something obvious?
It's surprising Opus isn't controlling this in v10 since it now renders it's own folder tree. I could have sworn there was in fact an option to control this... but I must have been mistaken? It's additionally odd since the file display does NOT sort zip files this way, while the folder tree does...
Negative... . That's not the right way to go as I "want" zip files and other archives to appear in the folder tree. It's the sorting of such files as "folders", intermingled with real folders that I want to change. As on WinXP, I want the zip files to be listed ~below the folders in the tree, as they are displayed in the file display.
LOL - after my head-wall bashing trials with the weird 'Copy ARCHIVE' issues related to Libraries - I went back and double-checked THIS issue as well...
This is also a library related issue . Viewing the same folder structure through the real / physical folder path shows zip files sorted as expected (below the folders) whereas they are mixed in with the folders when viewed through the virtual lib:// path...
