Continuing the discussion from Add Custom Buttons without Hotkeys to Locate Toolbar:
I still feel it would be useful to see items without assigned Hotkeys in the Customize > Keys dialog.
Perhaps the unassigned items could be added to “Other” or a new “Unassigned” category.
Reason:
The ability to use the “Locate toolbar” to visually show a button’s location is useful. As things work today, every new button must be assigned a “hotkey” in order to see them in the Customize > Keys dialog. Unfortunately, it is tedious to locate items without a hotkey assignment.
