A required thing is to backup all settings

"All your Preferences settings, Toolbars, Hotkeys, Filetypes, and other configuration will be backed up automatically" "Optionnaly you can also back up (...)"
What makes you think something will not be backed up?
and what about restore,does it restores all settings
Of course.
It would be a bit pointless if it only backed them up and couldn’t restore them as well.
