Bug when changing the width of panels

I evaluated Directory Opus 8 sometime ago but decided not to purchase a license by virtue of a bug which remains in version 9. I mean, after changing the width of the file pane (selecting with the mouse the left vertical line and dragging), I cannot select anymore any other folder at the folder tree pane, nor change again the width of the file pane.

Please see the file attached for better explanation.

Attached file?

Resizing the folder tree which is what I think you're talking about, works fine here and always has done.

I resize the panes all the time without any problems.

EDIT: Which isn't to say there isn't a problem, I'm just surprised if there is a problem since it's a common thing to do and nobody has mentioned an issue like this before.

Hopefully we can get to the bottom of it once the attachment clarifies exactly what we're talking about.

He's sent the attachment to me privately and he's definately resizing the folder tree. Nothing more, nothing less.

mpaiva, try going to Preferences - Listers - Folder Tree and turning off everything under the Show in Folder Tree section, and maybe experiment with the Start Folder Tree at option as well.

When trying different settings, open a new lister and verify that you can use the tree at first (if not restart Opus), then resize it and see if you can still use it.

Maybe the problem is triggered by a particular item in your folder tree that isn't in ours.

I don't know if it's the same problem but this other recent thread sounds similiar to what you're seeing (although it may be different):

[Problem Expanding/Collapsing Folders)

I unchecked all the marks in "Listers" preferences as suggested and the problem remains. By the way, despite this problem let me mention that Directory Opus has great features in a way I have found in no other file management program.

Another inform. I have tested DP9 in other machine and with no problem. What happens with my system ?

Thanks

Anything you can think of that's installed on the machine where it doesn't work but not on the one where it does work? Particularly things which might add items somewhere in the folder tree? (e.g. special folders for USB devices, network drives, etc.)
