Custom Folder Icons (Dopus 13)

I made several folder icons with a canvas size of 256x256 px and an icon size of 250x250 px so that it was balanced with the default dopus icon.

Can I set these icons as the default folder thumbnail?

Unfortunately you can't. Custom folder styles only work based on certain rules, they cannot replace default folder.

We'd like to add that in the future (although I'm not sure when we'll get to it).

Could you please add a screen shot to GLOBAL_01 to see how you set this up? Thanks.

I did experience a problem.
I attempted to trace it down using backup configuration files but could not isolate the actual problem.

I fixed the problem by restoring an old backup and then tried again.
Now it all works normally.

The thumbnail folder doesn't look neat enough. I want to allow for a system style

There’s an option to use shell folder thumbnails in Preferences.

(It’s off by default now because Windows 11 initially removed/broke them completely, and then added them back but in a way that is next to useless in our opinion, due to the way it hides the bottom half of everything.)

You are one of the most responsive developers I have ever met, and thank you so much for your answer.I have another question, can you bring a more modern interface for DOPus to make it more compatible with the Win11 interface?I found the DOPus interface to be too compact for high-resolution displays, such as folder trees and TAB bars, and not too user-friendly.On the other hand, I find the Win11 file manager much better looking, and I'm sorry to say that I still like DOPus very much

We provide preferences options to adjust UI spacing.

Please start a new thread for unrelated questions, and keep this one about the icons in the root post.
