Since I asked the author of that DopusWorX preview handler some questions and this project has some interesting aspects, I wonder why the links from my eMail notifications don't work anymore?
That other discussion which was split off doesn't seem to exist either anymore?!
There are quite some improvements - I'm not in a position to test them all, as I mostly use the extension for reading (for now). The complete formatting now responding to a given file extension (instead of only adapting the colour scheme) is the most significant one for me (yes I was the guy asking for it) but the new setup layout is now a jaw-dropping experience all by itself. Amazing.
I'm almost beginning to think of your 'extension' as an application, and Directory Opus as its extension.
I want to give it a try, at least on my test machine. But did he fix this issue?
Have you or anyone else checked whether there's a major memory leak with the actual plugin?
Because, AFAIR, when I tried another vibecoded plugin (I think it was the one that embeds Notepad++), I did notice that, along with a log that kept growing indefinitely over time without any limit. Mine ended up being over 1 GB .
It looks like you have the Auto open/close viewer pane setting enabled.
I have never enabled that option and it is set to off by default.
As @Errante points out there is another thread that indicated there may be a problem with that option.
I didn't report it as a bug as I know almost nothing about it.
I have nothing to report.
The plugin works just fine for me and the bugs I did find have been fixed with this version.
