Continuing the discussion from HEIC / HEVC metadata support:
Any plans for an upcoming Dopus version to include metadata (display and editing) for HEIC files?
Note: I can view the files after installing the MS HEIF Image / HEVC Video Extensions.
This is all that is showing for me:
No reason to have a second thread about this.
The only company really using HEIC (Apple) seems to be switching to JPEG-XL now so I'm not sure if it makes sense to spend more time on improving existing HEIC support.
At present time, it appears to me the JPEG-XL is reserved for Apple ProRaw Max.
Given the number of existing devices using HEIC, could you possibly reconsider adding in HEIC metadata display/edit support?
